Question to all Shine fm forum?
Iv written a book that is part biography on my life as label boss (4Liberty) and the house and garage scene. and would like your feedback.
It covers the rise and where Garage is today, contentious issues like how did a scene that was sexy and stylish become , well not very sexy and extremley unstylish
I have added a section on the parties, the violence, drugs, and exposed the proper wrongens, and why they did all they could to hinder the scene we created.
The book also covers my favorite and not so favorite artists, and importanly if I was still involved in the genre what would I be doing to take it to the next level again
Inaddition Iv listed who I would want to sign to 4Liberty if the label was still around ! the ayia napa / ibiza resorts and loads more.
part 2 of the book is educational, all the aspects that helps a artists or label to succeed. all my mistakes and what to do?
Im extremley happy with the outcome, but I aint finished yet! my question to you guys is, are there any areas you would like me to cover in a book that is a first of its a kind?
Look forward to your replys.

Is there anything in your book about how pirate radio was one of the biggest reasons that garage even got to see the light of day, like many other underground scenes? People always forget how much influence radio has on the dance music culture, and if it wasn't for the hard work, and determination of the pirates, there would have been no garage scene, no hardcore, no jungle etc. etc.

Dynamix, most definetley. not only have I made that a big part of my book as with the start of Garage, but I have also wrote a page on where the music is now, and stated the key stations that in my view are at the forefront, and there DJ's and forthcoming artists.
and so your aware, for me, Shine, Passion and Unknown are my big 3.
hope that has answered your question, and thanx, much appreciated.

(obviously shine are No.1) is there enough house and garage being played, or is the question is there enough being made, so that there can be more shows to play the music?
